Với tâm thức của người nghệ sĩ khát vọng cách tân thơ Việt truyền thống, Khế Iêm đã tiếp thu tinh thần thơ tự do Mỹ để kiến tạo và truyền bá thể thơ mới, thơ Tân hình thức. Bằng phương pháp phân tích, so sánh, bài viết đã chỉ ra những sáng tạo của thơ Tân hình thức, từ quan niệm thi pháp đến thực tiễn sáng tác, từ nội dung tư tưởng đến đối tượng tiếp nhận. Những cách tân ấy không chỉ là nỗ lực làm mới thi ca mà còn mở rộng biên giới thơ Việt, biên giới địa lý văn hóa và tư tưởng.

Vietnamese poetry

Abstract

With the mind of an artist bearing the aspiration to reform traditional Vietnamese
poetry, Khe Iem has absorbed the spirit of blank verse American poetry to establish,
construct and spread the new type of poetry: Vietnamese new formalism poetry. By
analyzing and comparing methods, the article has pointed out the creations of the type of
poetry from the poetic conception to the practice of composition, from the ideological
content to the receiving readers. These unique innovations are not only efforts to renew
Vietnamese poetry, but also ways to expand the frontier of Vietnamese poetry, the frontier
of territory, culture and thought.
